It began some years ago with a family member's allergy to coconut water and our founder's search for an alternative for when you don't want "boring" water, flavoured water, artificially enhanced, sugary, sugar-substituted, caffeinated soft drink or energy drink.

As a biochemist and toxicologist, the search led Dr Elliott to research the scientific studies surrounding prickly pear cactus. A plant with natural vitamins and minerals used for generations by many people in parts of the world, the studied potential health benefits were worth pursuing. With a key aspect ensuring an appropriate amount of prickly pear components was used, the goal was to create a great tasting healthy drink for all.

Uniquely formulated with prickly pear concentrated extract and juice, sparkling and still versions were created to deliver a premium low calorie drink that's a real alternative to other soft drinks.
